Canada 150 Celebration!

​This sculpture has been commissioned by Economusée and has been installed at the Okanagan Lavender and Herb Farm in Kelowna.

"( )The sculpture’s round sphere acts as a representation of a country of people from all over the world, while the tipi represents the indigenous peoples’ shoulders that the country was built upon. It also represents the celebration of people and the welcoming of those seeking asylum from other countries. Very pleased to see ​my exhibition of April / May 2017 with Sue Hall featured in Peachland View newspaper.

"Spring Fling is about a couple of creators whose art supplies come straight from nature.
The exhibit, which begins this weekend, will feature the wild works of Annabel Stanley and Sue Hall, who weave their forest findings into life-size natural fiber art and sculptures.
“I use things like dogwood, willow – anything you can pick from a tree that bends,” Stanley said, adding that she owns and operates a two acre vineyard of pinot noir, making supplies abundantly available to her. ( )" Continue to full story
